Steel House

An interior renovation to an award winning residence was executed with a keen sensitivity and appreciation for the distinct character of the original architectural design. Using modest materials and the integration of ergonomic millwork and soft furnishings, the goal of this renovation was to address the client's changing lifestyle needs in a manner that is respectful to and consistent with the existing architecture. The selection of beech wood veneer, custom concrete tiles, limestone counters, and the application of rich color tones were each cued by the existing design. The furnishings were selected for their comfort, casual elegance and timelessness in an attempt to fully harmonize one's experience of the home with its architectural strength.
